△Acts행24:1 닷새 후에 대제사장 아나니아가 장로들과 더둘로라 하는 웅변가와 함께 내려와서 총독에게 바울을 대적하여 고발하는지라
And after five days Ananias the high priest descended with the elders, and with a certain orator named Tertullus, who informed the governor against Paul.
△Acts행24:2 그가 불려 나오니 더둘로가 그를 고소하기 시작하여 이르되 우리가 당신으로 인해 큰 평화를 누리며 당신의 선견지명을 통해 이 민족에게 매우 값진 일이 이루어진 것을 알기에
And when he was called forth, Tertullus began to accuse him, saying, Seeing that by thee we enjoy great quietness, and that very worthy deeds are done unto this nation by thy providence,
△Acts행24:3 지극히 고귀한 벨릭스여 우리는 언제나 어디서나 크게 감사하며 그것을 간직하나이다
We accept it always, and in all places, most noble Felix, with all thankfulness.
△Acts행24:4 내가 더 이상 당신을 귀찮게 하기를 원하지 않으나 당신의 너그러움으로 우리 말을 몇 마디 들어 주기를 청하오니
Notwithstanding, that I be not further tedious unto thee, I pray thee that thou wouldst hear us of thy clemency a few words.
△Acts행24:5 우리는 이 사람이 전염병 같은 자요 온 세상 모든 유대인 가운데서 선동을 일삼는 자며 나사렛 이단의 주동자임을 알아냈나이다
For we have found this man a pestilent fellow, and a mover of sedition among all the Jews throughout the world, and a ringleader of the sect of the Nazarenes;
△Acts행24:6 그가 또한 성전을 더럽히려 하므로 우리가 그를 붙잡아 우리 율법에 따라 심판하려 했으나
Who also hath gone about to profane the temple; whom we took, and would have judged according to our law,
△Acts행24:7 천부장 루시아가 우리에게 와서 큰 폭력으로 우리 손에서 그를 빼앗아 가고
But the chief captain Lysias came upon us, and with great violence took him away out of our hands,
△Acts행24:8 그를 고소한 자들에게 명하여 당신에게 가라 했으니 당신이 그를 심문하면 우리가 그를 고소하는 이 모든 일에 관해 알 수 있으리이다 하매
Commanding his accusers to come unto thee; by examining of whom thyself mayest take knowledge of all these things, whereof we accuse him.
△Acts행24:9 유대인들도 동의하며 이르되 이 일이 그러하나이다 하더라
And the Jews also assented, saying that these things were so.
△Acts행24:10 총독이 말하라고 손짓하므로 바울이 대답하되 당신이 여러 해 동안 이 민족의 재판관이 된 것을 내가 알므로 더욱 즐거이 나를 위해 답변하리이다
Then Paul, after that the governor had beckoned unto him to speak, answ-ered, Forasmuch as I know that thou hast been of many years a judge unto this nation, I do the more cheerfully answer for myself;
△Acts행24:11 당신도 이해할 수 있으려니와 내가 예루살렘에 예배하러 올라 간지 이제 겨우 열이틀밖에 되지 않았고
Because that thou mayest understand, that there are yet but twelve days since I went up to Jerusalem for to worship.
△Acts행24:12 그들은 내가 성전에서 어떤 사람과 논쟁하거나 회당이나 성읍에서 사람들을 선동하는 것을 보지 못했으며
And they neither found me in the temple disputing with any man, neither raising up the people, neither in the synagogues, nor in the city;
△Acts행24:13 지금 나를 고소하는 일에 관해 입증할 수도 없나이다
Neither can they prove the things whereof they now accuse me.
△Acts행24:14 그러나 내가 이것을 당신에게 고백하나이다 나는 그들이 이단이라 하는 종교를 좇아 나의 조상의 하나님을 예배하며 율법과 선지자들의 글에 기록된 것을 모두 믿고
But this I confess unto thee, that after the way which they call heresy, so worship I the God of my fathers, believing all things which are written in the law and in the prophets;
△Acts행24:15 그들도 스스로 인정하는 바 하나님을 향한 소망을 가졌으니 죽은 자 곧 의인과 불의한 자 모두의 부활이 있으리라는 것이요
And have hope toward God, which they themselves also allow, that there shall be a resurrection of the dead, both of the just and unjust.
△Acts행24:16, JST24:16 그 안에서 나는 하나님과 사람들을 향해 양심에 거리끼는 일이 없도록 나 스스로 항상 힘썼나이다
And herein do I exercise myself, to have always a conscience void of offense toward God, and toward men.
△Acts행24:17 이제 내가 여러 해 만에 나의 민족을 위해 구호금과 헌물을 가지고 왔더니
Now after many years I came to bring alms to my nation, and offerings.
△Acts행24:18 아시아로부터 온 어떤 유대인들이 내가 성전에서 정결하게 된 것을 보았으되 무리와 함께 있거나 소동을 일으킨 것을 보지는 않았으므로
Whereupon certain Jews from Asia found me purified in the temple, neither with multitude, nor with tumult.
△Acts행24:19 그들이 나를 대적할 뭔가가 있다면 마땅히 여기 당신 앞에서 고발해야 하리이다
Who ought to have been here before thee, and object, if they had aught against me.
△Acts행24:20, JST24:20 그렇지 않으면 여기 있는 이 사람들로 하여금 내가 공회 앞에 섰을 때 나에게서 무슨 악한 소행을 찾아냈는지 말하게 하소서
Or else let these same here say, if they have found any evildoing in me while I stood before the council,
△Acts행24:21 오직 내가 그들 가운데 서서 외치기를 오늘 내가 죽은 자의 부활에 관한 것으로 인해 너희에게 심문받노라 한 이 목소리 외에는 달리 없나이다 하더라
Except it be for this one voice, that I cried standing among them, Touching the resurrection of the dead I am called in question by you this day.
△Acts행24:22 그 종교에 관해 더욱 완전한 지식을 갖고 있던 벨릭스는 이 말을 듣고 그 일을 뒤로 미루어 이르되 천부장 루시아가 내려오면 너의 일에 관해 자세히 알아보리라 하고
And when Felix heard these things, having more perfect knowledge of that way, he deferred them, and said, When Lysias the chief captain shall come down, I will know the uttermost of your matter.
△Acts행24:23 백부장에게 명하여 바울을 지키게 하되 그에게 자유를 주고 그의 지인이 그에게 도움을 주거나 방문하는 것을 금하지 말라 하더라
And he commanded a centurion to keep Paul, and to let him have liberty, and that he should forbid none of his acquaintance to minister or come unto him.
△Acts행24:24 여러 날 후에 벨릭스가 그의 아내 유대 여자 드루실라와 함께 와서 바울을 불러 그리스도에 대한 신앙에 관해 들으매
And after certain days, when Felix came with his wife Drusilla, which was a Jewess, he sent for Paul, and heard him concerning the faith in Christ.
△Acts행24:25 그가 의로움과 절제와 다가올 심판에 관해 변론하니 벨릭스가 떨며 대답하되 지금은 가라 내가 시간이 있을 때 너를 부르리라 하고
And as he reasoned of righteousness, temperance, and judgment to come, Felix trembled, and answered, Go thy way for this time; when I have a convenient season, I will call for thee.
△Acts행24:26 바울에게서 그를 풀어 주는 대가로 돈 받을 것을 기대하여 더 자주 그를 불러 그와 대화하더라
He hoped also that money should have been given him of Paul, that he might loose him; wherefore he sent for him the oftener, and communed with him.
△Acts행24:27, JST24:27 그러나 두 해가 지난 후에 보르기오 베스도가 벨릭스의 자리로 부임하매 벨릭스는 유대인에게 잘 보이고자 하여 바울을 감금한 채로 두니라
But after two years Porcius Festus came into Felix' room; and Felix, willing to show the Jews a pleasure, left Paul bound.
