마태복음 Matthew 5
△Matt.마5:1, JST5:1 예수가 무리를 보고 산에 올라 앉으니 제자들이 그에게 나아오더라
And Jesus, seeing the multitudes, went up into a mountain; and when he was set down, his disciples came unto him;
△Matt.마5:2 그가 입을 열어 그들을 가르쳐 이르되
And he opened his mouth and taught them, saying,
JST5:3 나를 믿는 자들에게 복이 있도다 또한 너희가 나를 본 것과 내가 나임을 증언할 때 너희 말을 믿는 자들에게는 더욱 복이 있도다
Blessed are they who shall believe on me; and again, more blessed are they who shall believe on your words, when ye shall testify that ye have seen me and that I am.
JST5:4 참으로 너희 말을 믿고 지극한 겸손으로 낮아져서 나의 이름으로 침례 받는 자들에게 복이 있나니 이는 그들이 불과 성령으로 방문 받아 죄 사함 받을 것임이라
Yea, blessed are they who shall believe on your words, and come down into the depth of humility, and be baptized in my name; for they shall be visited with fire and the Holy Ghost, and shall receive a remission of their sins.
△Matt.마5:3, JST5:5 참으로 영으로 가난하여 나에게 오는 자들에게 복이 있나니 이는 하늘 왕국이 그들의 것임이요
Yea, blessed are the poor in spirit, who come unto me; for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
△Matt.마5:4, JST5:6 또한 애통하는 자들에게 복이 있나니 이는 그들이 위로받을 것임이요
And again, blessed are they that mourn; for they shall be comforted.
△Matt.마5:5, JST5:7 온유한 자들에게 복이 있나니 이는 그들이 땅을 유업으로 받을 것임이요
And blessed are the meek; for they shall inherit the earth.
△Matt.마5:6, JST5:8 의로움에 굶주리고 목마른 모든 자에게 복이 있나니 이는 그들이 성령으로 충만할 것임이요
And blessed are all they that do hunger and thirst after righteousness; for they shall be filled with the Holy Ghost.
△Matt.마5:7, JST5:9 자비로운 자들에게 복이 있나니 이는 그들이 자비를 얻을 것임이요
And blessed are the merciful; for they shall obtain mercy.
△Matt.마5:8, JST5:10 마음이 정결한 모든 자에게 복이 있나니 이는 그들이 하나님을 볼 것임이요
And blessed are all the pure in heart; for they shall see God.
△Matt.마5:9, JST5:11 화평하게 하는 모든 자에게 복이 있나니 이는 그들이 하나님의 자녀라 불릴 것임이요
And blessed are all the peacemakers; for they shall be called the children of God.
△Matt.마5:10, JST5:12 나의 이름으로 인해 박해받는 모든 자에게 복이 있나니 이는 하늘 왕국이 그들의 것임이요
Blessed are all they that are perse-cuted for my name’s sake; for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
△Matt.마5:11, JST5:13 나로 인해 사람들이 너희를 욕하고 박해하며 거짓으로 너희를 대적하여 온갖 악한 말을 할 때에 너희에게 복이 있나니
And blessed are ye when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.
△Matt.마5:12, JST5:14 이는 하늘에 있는 너희 상이 클 것이매 너희가 크게 기뻐하고 심히 즐거워할 것임이라 그들은 너희보다 먼저 있던 선지자들을 그렇게 박해했느니라
For ye shall have great joy, and be exceeding glad; for great shall be your reward in heaven; for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.
△Matt.마5:13, JST5:15 진실로 진실로 내가 너희에게 이르노니 너희는 땅의 소금이 되라 그러나 소금이 그 맛을 잃으면 무엇으로 땅을 짜게 하겠느냐 그 후로 그 소금은 아무 쓸모가 없어 밖에 던져지고 사람의 발아래 밟힐 뿐이니라
Verily, verily, I say unto you, I give unto you to be the salt of the earth; but if the salt shall lose its savor, wherewith shall the earth be salted? the salt shall thenceforth be good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.
△Matt.마5:14, JST5:16 진실로 진실로 내가 너희에게 이르노니 너희는 세상의 빛이 되라 산 위에 세워진 성읍은 감추어질 수 없느니라
Verily, verily, I say unto you, I give unto you to be the light of the world; a city that is set on a hill cannot be hid.
△Matt.마5:15, JST5:17 보라 사람이 촛불을 켜서 바구니 아래 두느냐 아니라 촛대 위에 두어 집안에 있는 모든 사람에게 빛을 비추게 하느니라
Behold, do men light a candle and put it under a bushel? Nay, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light to all that are in the house.
△Matt.마5:16, JST5:18 그러므로 너희 빛을 이 세상 앞에 밝게 비추어 그들이 너희 선한 일을 보고 하늘에 계신 너희 아버지께 영광을 돌리게 하라
Therefore, let your light so shine before this world, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.
△Matt.마5:17 내가 율법이나 선지자를 폐하러 온 것으로 생각하지 말라 나는 폐하러 온 것이 아니요 성취하러 왔노라
Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets; I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill.
△Matt.마5:18, JST5:20 진실로 내가 너희에게 이르노니 하늘과 땅은 반드시 없어지되 율법으로부터는 일점일획도 결코 없어지지 않고 모두 성취되리라
For verily I say unto you, heaven and earth must pass away, but one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, until all be fulfilled.
△Matt.마5:19, JST5:21 그러므로 누구든지 이 계명 가운데 지극히 작은 것 하나라도 깨뜨리고 사람에게 그렇게 하도록 가르치는 자는 결코 하늘 왕국에서 구원받지 못하리라 그러나 누구든지 율법의 이 계명을 그것이 성취되기까지 행하며 가르치는 자는 크다 일컬음 받을 것이요 하늘 왕국에서 구원받으리니
Whosoever, therefore, shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so to do, he shall in no wise be saved in the kingdom of heaven; but whosoever shall do and teach these commandments of the law until it be fulfilled, the same shall be called great, and shall be saved in the kingdom of heaven.
△Matt.마5:20, JST5:22 이는 내가 너희에게 이르거니와 너희 의로움이 서기관과 바리새인의 의보다 낫지 않으면 너희는 결코 하늘 왕국에 들어가지 못할 것임이라
For I say unto you, except your righteousness shall exceed that of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.
△Matt.마5:21, JST5:23 옛사람이 말한 바 살인하지 말라 누구든지 살인하는 자는 하나님의 심판을 받을 위험에 처하리라 한 것을 너희가 들었으나
Ye have heard that it hath been said by them of old time that, Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill, shall be in danger of the judgment of God.
△Matt.마5:22, JST5:24 내가 너희에게 이르노니 누구든지 자기 형제에게 분노하는 자는 그의 심판을 받을 위험에 처할 것이요 누구든지 자기 형제에게 라가 또는 랍차라 하는 자는 공회에 잡힐 위험에 처할 것이요 누구든지 자기 형제에게 미련한 놈이라 하는 자는 지옥 불에 들어갈 위험에 처하리라
But I say unto you that whosoever is angry with his brother, shall be in danger of his judgment; and who-soever shall say to his brother, Raca, or Rabcha, shall be in danger of the council; and whosoever shall say to his brother, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hellfire.
△Matt.마5:23, JST5:25 그러므로 너희가 나에게 오거나 또는 오길 원하거나 너희가 예물을 제단에 가져올 때에 너희 형제가 너희를 대적할 만한 무엇이 있는 것이 생각나거든
Therefore, if ye shall come unto me, or shall desire to come unto me, or if thou bring thy gift to the altar, and there rememberest that thy brother hath aught against thee,
△Matt.마5:24, JST5:26 너희는 예물을 제단 앞에 두고 너희 형제에게 가서 먼저 형제와 화해하고 그 후에 와서 너희 예물을 바치라
Leave thou thy gift before the altar, and go thy way unto thy brother, and first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift.
△Matt.마5:25, JST5:27 너희가 대적과 함께 길에 있는 동안에 속히 그와 화해하라 그리하여 너희 대적이 언제든지 너희를 재판관에게 넘겨주고 재판관이 너희를 관원에게 넘겨주어 너희가 옥에 던져지지 않게 하라
Agree with thine adversary quickly, while thou art in the way with him; lest at any time thine adversary deliver thee to the judge, and the judge deliver thee to the officer, and thou be cast into prison.
△Matt.마5:26, JST5:28 진실로 내가 너희에게 이르노니 너희가 한 푼도 남김없이 모두 갚기까지는 결코 거기서 나오지 못하리라
Verily I say unto thee, thou shalt by no means come out thence, until thou hast paid the uttermost farthing.
△Matt.마5:27, JST5:29 보라 옛사람이 기록하기를 간음을 범하지 말라 했으나
Behold, it is written by them of old time, that thou shalt not commit adultery.
△Matt.마5:28 내가 너희에게 이르노니 누구든지 탐욕을 품고 여자를 보는 자는 마음속으로 이미 그녀와 간음을 범했느니라
But I say unto you that whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her, hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.
JST5:31 보라 내가 너희에게 명하노니 이것들 가운데 아무것도 너희 마음속에 들어가는 것을 용납하지 말라 이것들에 대해 너희 자신을 부인하고 그 점에서 너희 십자가를 지는 것이 너희가 지옥에 던져지는 것보다 나으니라
Behold, I give unto you a command-ment, that ye suffer none of these things to enter into your heart, for it is better that ye should deny yours-elves of these things, wherein ye will take up your cross, than that ye should be cast into hell.
△Matt.마5:29, JST5:32 그러므로 너희 오른 눈이 너희를 실족하게 하거든 그것을 빼어 너희로부터 던져 버리라 이는 너희 지체 하나가 없어지고 너희 온몸이 지옥에 던져지지 않는 것이 너희에게 유익함이라
Wherefore, if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out and cast it from thee; for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.
△Matt.마5:30, JST5:33 또 너희 오른손이 너를 실족하게 하면 그것을 잘라 너희로부터 던져 버리라 이는 너희 지체 하나가 없어지고 온몸이 지옥에 던져지지 않는 것이 너희에게 유익함이라
Or if thy right hand offend thee, cut it off and cast it from thee; for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.
JST5:34 지금 내가 말하는 이것은 너희 죄에 관한 비유니라 그러므로 너희가 베어져 불 속에 던져지지 않도록 그것들을 너희로부터 던져 버리라
And now this I speak, a parable concerning your sins; wherefore, cast them from you, that ye may not be hewn down and cast into the fire.
△Matt.마5:31, JST5:35 기록되었으되 누구든지 자기 아내를 버리는 자는 이혼 증서를 그녀에게 주라 했으나
It hath been written that, Whosoever shall put away his wife, let him give her a writing of divorcement.
△Matt.마5:32, JST5:36 진실로 진실로 내가 너희에게 이르노니 누구든지 간음한 이유 없이 아내를 버리는 자는 그녀로 하여금 간음을 범하게 하는 것이요 또 누구든지 이혼한 여자와 결혼하는 자도 간음을 범하는 것이니라
Verily, verily, I say unto you that whosoever shall put away his wife,
saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery; and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced, committeth adultery.
△Matt.마5:33, JST5:37 또 옛사람이 기록하기를 거짓맹세 하지 말고 너희 맹세를 주께 실행하라 했으나
Again, it hath been written by them of old time, Thou shalt not forswear thyself, but shalt perform unto the Lord thine oaths.
△Matt.마5:34 내가 너희에게 이르노니 도무지 맹세하지 말지니 하늘로도 말라 이는 그것이 하나님의 보좌임이요
But I say unto you, Swear not at all; neither by heaven, for it is God’s throne;
△Matt.마5:35 땅으로도 말라 이는 그것이 그의 발등상임이요 예루살렘으로도 말라 이는 그것이 큰 왕의 도성임이요
nor by the earth, for it is his footstool; neither by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the great King;
△Matt.마5:36 너희 머리로도 맹세하지 말라 이는 너희가 머리털 하나도 희거나 검게 할 수 없기 때문이라
neither shalt thou swear by thy head, because thou canst not make one hair white or black.
△Matt.마5:37 오직 너희 말은 예 예 아니요 아니요가 되게 하라 무엇이든 이것보다 더한 것은 악에서 나오느니라
But let your communication be Yea, yea; Nay, nay; for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil.
△Matt.마5:38 눈은 눈으로 이는 이로 갚으라 했다는 것을 너희가 들었으나
Ye have heard that it hath been said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth.
△Matt.마5:39 내가 너희에게 이르노니 너희는 악을 대항하지 말라 누구든지 너희 오른뺨을 치거든 다른 쪽도 그에게 돌려대며
But I say unto you that ye resist not evil; but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also.
△Matt.마5:40, JST5:42 누구든지 너희를 법에 고소하여 너희 속옷을 빼앗으려 하거든 그가 그것을 가지게 하고 그가 다시 고소하거든 너희 겉옷도 가지게 하라
And if any man will sue thee at the law, and take away thy coat, let him have it; and if he sue thee again, let him have thy cloak also.
△Matt.마5:41, JST5:43 누구든지 너희를 강제하여 오 리를 가게 하거든 그와 함께 오 리를 가고 누구든지 너희를 강제하여 십 리를 가게 하거든 그와 함께 십 리를 가며
And whosoever shall compel thee to go a mile, go with him a mile; and whosoever shall compel thee to go with him twain, thou shalt go with him twain.
△Matt.마5:42, JST5:44 너희에게 구하는 자에게 주고 너희에게서 빌리고자 하는 자로부터 돌아서지 말라
Give to him that asketh of thee; and from him that would borrow of thee, turn not thou away.
△Matt.마5:43 너희 이웃을 사랑하고 너희 원수를 미워하라 했다는 것을 너희가 들었으나
Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbor, and hate thine enemy.
△Matt.마5:44, JST5:46 내가 너희에게 이르노니 너희 원수를 사랑하라 너희를 저주하는 자를 축복하라 너희를 미워하는 자에게 선을 행하라 너희를 악의적으로 이용하고 박해하는 자를 위해 기도하라
But I say unto you, Love your enemies; bless them that curse you; do good to them that hate you; and pray for them that despitefully use you and perse-cute you;
△Matt.마5:45, JST5:47 그리하면 너희가 하늘에 계신 너희 아버지의 자녀가 되리니 그는 악한 자와 선한 자 위에
그의 태양을 떠오르게 하며 의인과 불의한 자 위에 비를 내리느니라
That ye may be the children of your Father who is in heaven; for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.
△Matt.마5:46, JST5:48 너희가 너희를 사랑하는 자만 사랑하면 너희가 무슨 상을 받겠느냐 세리도 똑같이 하지 않느냐
For if ye love only them which love you, what reward have you? Do not even the publicans the same?
△Matt.마5:47, JST5:49 너희가 너희 형제에게만 인사하면 다른 사람보다 더하는 것이 무엇이냐 세리도 똑같이 하지 않느냐
And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? Do not even the publicans the same?
△Matt.마5:48, JST5:50 그러므로 너희는 하늘에 계신 너희 아버지가 완전한 것처럼 완전하라는 명령을 받았느니라 Ye are therefore commanded to be perfect, even as your Father who is in heaven is perfect.
