로마서 Rom 9
△Rom.롬9:1 나는 그리스도 안에서 진실을 말하고 거짓말하지 않노라 나의 양심 또한 성령 안에서 증언하는 것은
I say the truth in Christ, I lie not, my conscience also bearing me witness in the Holy Ghost,
△Rom.롬9:2 나의 마음속에 큰 근심과 계속되는 슬픔이 있는 것이니
That I have great heaviness and continual sorrow in my heart,
△Rom.롬9:3, JST9:3 (한때 나 자신은 그리스도로부터 저주받기를 원할 뻔 했노라) 이는 나의 형제들과 육신에 따라 친척된
(For once I could have wished that myself were accursed from Christ,) for my brethren, my kinsmen accor-ding to the flesh;
△Rom.롬9:4, JST9:4 이스라엘 사람으로 인한 것이라 그들에게서 입양되는 것과 영광과 성약과 율법을 주는 것과 하나님을 섬기는 것과
Who are Israelites; of whom are the adoption, and the glory, and the covenants, and the giving of the law, and the service of God,
△Rom.롬9:5, JST9:5 조상에게 맺어진 약속이 나왔고 그들에게서 육신으로 그리스도가 났나니 그는 모든 것 위에 있으며 영원히 복되신 하나님이라 아멘
And the promises which are made unto the fathers; and of whom, as concerning the flesh, Christ was, who is God over all, blessed forever. Amen.
△Rom.롬9:6 하나님의 말씀이 무효화 될 것 같지 않나니 이는 이스라엘에게서 난 자가 모두 이스라엘이 아니요
Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel.
△Rom.롬9:7, JST9:7 모든 아브라함의 자손이 그 씨가 아니요 이삭에게서 난 자라야 너의 씨라 불리리라 했음이라
Neither, because they are all children of Abraham, are they the seed; but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called.
△Rom.롬9:8 다시 말하면 육신의 자녀가 하나님의 자녀가 아니요 약속의 자녀가 그 씨로 헤아려지느니라
That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God; but the children of the promise are counted for the seed.
△Rom.롬9:9 그 약속의 말씀은 이것이니 이 무렵에 내가 오겠고 사라에게 아들이 있으리라 한 것이라
For this is the word of promise. At this time will I come, and Sarah shall have a son.
△Rom.롬9:10, JST9:10 사라뿐만 아니라 리브가도 우리 조상 이삭 한 사람을 통해 잉태했을 때
And not only Sarah; but when Rebecca also had conceived by one, our father Isaac,
△Rom.롬9:11 (이는 아직 아이들이 태어나지 않았고 선이나 악을 행하지도 않았으되 행위를 통해서가 아니라 부르시는 그를 통해서 택함에 따라 하나님의 목적을 세우려 함이라)
(For the children being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him that calleth;)
△Rom.롬9:12 그녀에게 이르되 형이 동생을 섬기리라 했나니
It was said unto her, The elder shall serve the younger.
△Rom.롬9:13 기록된 바 내가 야곱은 사랑했으되 에서는 미워했노라 함과 같으니라
As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated.
△Rom.롬9:14 그러면 우리가 무슨 말을 하겠느냐 하나님께 불의함이 있느냐 결코 그럴 수 없느니라
What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? God forbid.
△Rom.롬9:15 이는 그가 모세에게 이르되 나는 자비를 베풀 자에게 자비를 베풀고 불쌍히 여길 자를 불쌍히 여기리라 했음이라
For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.
△Rom.롬9:16, JST9:16 그러므로 그것은 원하는 자로 인해서가 아니요 달리는 자로 인해서도 아니요 오직 자비를 보이시는 하나님으로 인한 것이라
So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that showeth mercy.
△Rom.롬9:17, JST9:17 경전이 파라오에게 이르되 내가 너를 일으킨 것은 이와 같은 목적이니 너의 안에서 나의 능력을 보여 나의 이름이 온 땅에 널리 선포되게 하려 함이라 했으므로
For the scripture saith unto Pharaoh, Even for this same purpose have I raised thee up, that I might show my power in thee, and that my name might be declared throughout all the earth.
△Rom.롬9:18 그는 자비를 베풀 자에게 자비를 베풀고 그가 원하는 자를 완악하게 하느니라
Therefore hath he mercy on whom he will have mercy, and whom he will he hardeneth.
△Rom.롬9:19 그러면 너가 나에게 이르기를 어찌하여 그가 여전히 잘못을 찾느냐 누가 그의 뜻을 거역했느냐 하겠으나
Thou wilt say then unto me, Why doth he yet find fault? For who hath resisted his will?
△Rom.롬9:20 그렇지 않으니라 오 사람아 하나님께 대답하는 너는 누구냐 지음 받은 것이 지은 자에게 이르기를 어찌하여 너가 나를 이렇게 만들었느냐 하겠느냐
Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why hast thou made me thus?
△Rom.롬9:21, JST9:21 토기장이가 진흙을 마음대로 주물러 같은 덩어리에서 그릇 하나는 존귀에 이르게 하고 다른 것은 수치에 이르게 할 능력이 없느냐
Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honor, and another unto dishonor?
△Rom.롬9:22, JST9:22 자기 진노를 보이고 자기의 능력을 알리기 원하는 하나님이 멸망에 합당한 진노의 그릇에 대해 심히 오래 참음으로 인내하는 것은
What if God, willing to show his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction;
△Rom.롬9:23, JST9:23 영광에 이르도록 미리 예비한 자비의 그릇 위에 자기 영광의 풍성함을 알리려 함이니
And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had before prepared unto glory,
△Rom.롬9:24 그가 우리 유대인에 속한 자뿐만 아니라 이방인에 속한 자도 불렀으면 어찌하겠느냐
Even us, whom he hath called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles?
△Rom.롬9:25, JST9:25 호세아의 글에도 그가 이르되 내가 나의 백성이 아니었던 자들을 나의 백성이라 부르고 사랑받지 못하던 그녀를 사랑하는 이라 부르리라
As he saith also in Hosea, I will call them my people, which were not my people; and her beloved, which was not beloved.
△Rom.롬9:26 그리고 이렇게 되리니 그들에게 일러 너희는 나의 백성이 아니라 하던 그곳에서 그들이 살아계신 하나님의 자녀라 불리리라 한 것과 같으니라
And it shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said unto them, Ye
are not my people; there shall they be called the children of the living God.
△Rom.롬9:27 이사야도 이스라엘에 관해 외치되 이스라엘 자손의 수효가 바다의 모래와 같을지라도 남은 무리만 구원받으리라
Esaias also crieth concerning Israel, Though the number of the children of Israel be as the sand of the sea, a remnant shall be saved;
△Rom.롬9:28 그가 의로움 가운데 그 일을 단축하여 마치리니 이는 주가 땅 위에 한 가지 단축된 일을 이룰 것임이라
For he will finish the work, and cut it short in righteousness; because a short work will the Lord make upon the earth.
△Rom.롬9:29 또 이사야가 미리 말한대로 사바오스의 주가 우리에게 씨 하나를 남기지 않았다면 우리는 소돔과 같았을 것이요 고모라처럼 되었으리라
And as Esaias said before, Except the Lord of Sabaoth had left us a seed, we had been as Sodoma, and been made like unto Gomorrah.
△Rom.롬9:30 그러면 우리가 무슨 말을 하겠느냐 의로움을 따르지 않았던 이방인은 의로움 곧 신앙에서 난 의로움에 이르렀으나
What shall we say then? That the Gentiles, which followed not after righteousness, have attained to right-eousness, even the righteousness which is of faith.
△Rom.롬9:31 의로움의 율법을 따랐던 이스라엘은 의로움의 율법에 이르지 못했느니라
But Israel, which followed after the law of righteousness, hath not attai-ned to the law of righteousness.
△Rom.롬9:32, JST9:32 그러므로 그들이 그 걸림돌에 걸려 넘어진 것은 신앙에 의해서가 아니라 율법의 행위에 의해서 넘어진 것과 같으니
Wherefore they stumbled at that stumbling stone, not by faith, but as it were by the works of the law;
△Rom.롬9:33, JST9:33 그것은 기록된 바 보라 내가 걸림돌과 실족하게 하는 반석을 시온에 두거니와 누구든지 그를 믿는 자는 수치를 당하지 않으리라 함과 같으니라
As it is written, Behold, I lay in Sion a stumbling stone and rock of offense; and whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
