사도행전 Acts 25
△Acts행25:1 이제 베스도가 그 지방으로 부임한 지 삼 일 후에 가이사랴에서 예루살렘으로 올라가니
Now when Festus was come into the province, after three days he ascended from Caesarea to Jerusalem.
△Acts행25:2 대제사장과 유대인 지도자가 바울을 대적하여 고발하고 간청하며
Then the high priest and the chief of the Jews informed him against Paul, and besought him,
△Acts행25:3, JST25:3 그에 대해 부탁하여 그를 예루살렘으로 보내달라고 요청했으니 이는 길에 숨었다가 그를 죽이려 함이더라
And desired favor against him, that he would send for him to Jerusalem, laying wait in the way to kill him.
△Acts행25:4 그러나 베스도가 대답하되 바울을 가이사랴에 두어야 하며 자기도 속히 그곳으로 떠나려 한다 하고
But Festus answered, that Paul should be kept at Caesarea, and that he himself would depart shortly thither.
△Acts행25:5 이르되 그러므로 너희 가운데서 가능한 자들은 나와 함께 내려가서 이 사람에게 어떤 사악함이 있으면 고소하라 하더라
Let them therefore, said he, which among you are able, go down with me, and accuse this man, if there be any wickedness in him.
△Acts행25:6 그가 그들 가운데 열흘 이상 머물고 가이사랴로 내려가서 다음 날 재판석에 앉아 바울을 데려오라 명하니
And when he had tarried among them more than ten days, he went down unto Caesarea; and the next day sitt-ing on the judgment seat commanded Paul to be brought.
△Acts행25:7 그가 나오매 예루살렘으로부터 내려온 유대인들이 둘러서서 바울을 대적하여 심각한 불만 사항을 많이 늘어놓되 그것을 입증하지 못하더라
And when he was come, the Jews which came down from Jerusalem stood round about, and laid many and grievous complaints against Paul, which they could not prove.
△Acts행25:8, JST25:8 이에 그가 자기를 위해 대답하되 나는 지금까지 유대인의 율법이나 성전이나 가이사에 대해 실족하게 한 것이 아무것도 없노라 했으나
While he answered for himself, Neither against the law of the Jews, neither against the temple, nor yet against Caesar, have I offended anything at all.
△Acts행25:9 베스도가 유대인들을 기쁘게 하려고 바울에게 대답하여 이르되 너는 예루살렘으로 올라가 거기서 이 일에 관해 나의 앞에서 재판받겠느냐 하므로
But Festus, willing to do the Jews a pleasure, answered Paul, and said, Wilt thou go up to Jerusalem, and there be judged of these things before me?
△Acts행25:10 바울이 이르되 나는 가이사의 재판석에 서서 재판받겠나이다 당신이 잘 아는 것처럼 나는 유대인에게 아무런 잘못을 범하지 않았나이다
Then said Paul, I stand at Caesar's judgment seat, where I ought to be judged; to the Jews have I done no wrong, as thou very well knowest.
△Acts행25:11, JST25:11 내가 실족하게 하는 자이거나 죽어 마땅한 일을 범했으면 죽기를 마다하지 않을 것이나 이 사람들이 나를 고소하는 이것들이 사실이 아니면 아무도 나를 그들에게 넘겨줄 수 없나니 나는 가이사에게 상소하나이다 하는지라
For if I be an offender, or have committed anything worthy of death, I refuse not to die; but if there be none of these things whereof these accuse me, no man may deliver me unto them. I appeal unto Caesar.
△Acts행25:12 베스도가 회의를 열고 논의하여 대답하되 너가 가이사에게 상소했으니 가이사에게 가리라 하더라
Then Festus, when he had conferred with the council, answered, Hast thou appealed unto Caesar? unto Caesar shalt thou go.
△Acts행25:13 여러 날 후에 아그립바 왕과 버니게가 베스도에게 인사하러 가이사랴에 와서
And after certain days king Agrippa and Bernice came unto Caesarea to salute Festus.
△Acts행25:14 여러 날을 거기 있더니 베스도가 바울의 사건을 왕에게 밝히 알려 이르되 벨릭스가 어떤 사람을 감금해 두었는데
And when they had been there many days, Festus declared Paul's cause unto the king, saying, There is a certain man left in bonds by Felix;
△Acts행25:15 내가 예루살렘에 있을 때 유대인 제사장들과 장로들이 나에게 그를 고발하며 그에 대한 재판을 청구하길래
About whom, when I was at Jerusalem, the chief priests and the elders of the Jews informed me, desiring to have judgment against him.
△Acts행25:16 내가 그들에게 대답하되 피고가 원고의 얼굴을 마주하여 그에게 지워진 혐의에 관해 자신을 변명할 기회를 갖기 전에 사형에 처하도록 넘겨주는 것은 로마인의 방식이 아니라 했나이다
To whom I answered, It is not the matter of the Romans to deliver any man to die, before that he which is accused have the accusers face to face, and have license to answer for himself concerning the crime laid against him.
△Acts행25:17, JST25:17 그리하여 그들이 여기 왔을 때 지체하지 않고 그 다음 날 내가 재판석에 앉아 그 사람을 데려오라 명하매
Therefore, when they were come hither, without any delay on the day following I sat on the judgment seat, and commanded the man to be brought forth.
△Acts행25:18 고소하는 자들이 그를 대적하여 일어섰으되 내가 생각했던 것들에 관한 고소는 하나도 없고
Against whom when the accusers stood up, they brought none accu-sation of such things as I supposed;
△Acts행25:19 자기들의 종교와 죽었으나 살았다고 바울이 주장하는 예수라 하는 이에 관해 그를 대적하는 문제들뿐이라
But had certain questions against him of their own superstition, and of one Jesus, which was dead, whom Paul affirmed to be alive.
△Acts행25:20 나는 그런 방식의 문제에 관해 확신이 없었으므로 그에게 묻기를 예루살렘에 올라가 거기서 이 일에 관해 재판받겠느냐 했더니
And because I doubted of such manner of questions, I asked him whether he would go to Jerusalem, and there be judged of these matters.
△Acts행25:21 바울이 상소하여 아구스도 앞에서 증언하기까지 보호해달라고 요청하므로 내가 그를 가이사에게 보낼 때까지 지키라고 명했나이다 하니
But when Paul had appealed to be reserved unto the hearing of Augustus, I commanded him to be kept till I might send him to Caesar.
△Acts행25:22, JST25:22 아그립바가 베스도에게 이르되 나도 이 사람의 말을 직접 듣고자 하노라 하매 그가 이르되 내일 당신이 그의 말을 들으리이다 하더라
Then Agrippa said unto Festus, I would also hear the man myself. Tomorrow, said he, thou shalt hear him.
△Acts행25:23 이튿날 아그립바와 버니게가 큰 행렬과 함께 와서 천부장들과 성읍의 주요 인사들과 함께 청문회장으로 들어오고 베스도의 명령으로 바울이 끌려나오매
And on the morrow, when Agrippa was come, and Bernice, with great pomp, and was entered into the place of hearing, with the chief captains, and principal men of the city, at Festus' commandment Paul was brought forth.
△Acts행25:24 베스도가 이르되 아그립바 왕과 이곳에 우리와 함께 참석한 모든 분이여 당신들이 보는 이 사람은 유대인의 온 무리가 더 이상 살려두어서는 안 된다고 외치며 예루살렘과 여기서 나에게 고발한 사람이니이다
And Festus said, King Agrippa, and all men which are here present with us, ye see this man, about whom all the multitude of the Jews have dealt with me, both at Jerusalem, and also here, crying that he ought not to live any longer.
△Acts행25:25 그러나 내가 알아보니 그는 죽어 마땅한 죄를 범한 것이 없고 그가 직접 아구스도에게 상소했으므로 내가 그를 보내기로 작정했으되
But when I found that he had comm-itted nothing worthy of death, and that he himself hath appealed to Augustus, I have determined to send him.
△Acts행25:26 그에 관해 황제께 쓸 확실한 것이 없으므로 내가 그를 당신들 앞에 오 아그립바 왕이여 특별히 당신 앞에 데려온 것은 심문하고 나서 내가 뭔가 쓸 것을 얻으려 함이니
Of whom I have no certain thing to write unto my lord. Wherefore I have brought him forth before you, and specially before thee, O king Agrippa, that, after examination had, I might have somewhat to write.
△Acts행25:27 죄수를 보내면서 그에게 지워진 죄목을 밝히지 않는 것은 내가 보기에 타당하지 않기 때문이니이다 하더라
For it seemeth to me unreasonable to send a prisoner, and not withal to signify the crimes laid against him.
